Terms of Use
Rules covering use of this website and any bookings made through it with Damp Surveys NI.
Welcome to dampsurveysni.co.uk. This website belongs to Damp Surveys NI, and the points below explain the basis on which you may look around its pages and use its booking facility. Using any part of the site signals that you are happy with these points. Should any of them be unacceptable to you, we ask that you leave the site.
Pages here describe what a damp survey involves and why homeowners, landlords and buyers tend to arrange one. That material is broad background only. Damp behaves differently from one building to the next, so nothing written on a web page can tell you what is happening inside your own walls or what remedy, if any, is needed. Please base any decision about repairs, treatment or a purchase on what is found when your property is actually inspected. We take care over what we publish, yet we cannot promise that every statement on the site is correct, complete or up to date at the moment you read it.
You can book a survey at the price shown by completing the enquiry form. When you send it, the details you provide are passed to the specialist who carries out the work, so that they can confirm arrangements with you and attend the property. Please make sure the address, contact information and any notes about the building are accurate, because the visit relies on them. The detailed arrangements for the survey itself are settled between you and that specialist.
Unless stated otherwise, the wording, layout, images and other material on this website are owned by or used with permission by Damp Surveys NI. You may view the pages and print or save extracts for your own private reference. Copying, republishing, selling or adapting any of this material for another purpose needs written permission first.
Because the site offers general reading rather than advice tailored to a property, we accept no responsibility for loss or damage that results from relying on its contents alone. We also cannot promise that the site will always be available, free of faults or free of harmful code, and you use it at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under UK law.
From time to time a page may point you towards a website run by someone else. Those sites sit outside our control, and a link does not mean we endorse them or their content. Their own terms and privacy arrangements will apply once you leave this site, so it is worth reading them.
These terms may be revised when the site or the way it works changes. The wording published on this page is the version that applies whenever you visit, so please look back at it now and then. These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and its courts will deal with any dispute that arises from them.
