Damp Surveys Booked Across Northern Ireland

A stain creeping up a skirting board, black spots in a bedroom corner or a musty smell under the stairs can each point to a different problem. Damp Surveys NI takes bookings for set-price surveys across the six counties. Tell us what you have spotted, pick the survey that fits, and a local specialist will be in touch to arrange the visit.

Why people across Northern Ireland book with us

  • Cause before cure

The specialist works out whether a wall is wet from rising damp, rain getting in or condensation before any treatment is talked about, because each one needs a different fix.

  • Readings on record

Moisture readings are taken room by room and read alongside what the specialist can see, so the findings rest on more than a single meter number.

  • Drains looked at too

A cracked or leaking drain can feed damp into a wall or floor. Drain surveys, including CCTV inspections, can be booked here when a pipe is under suspicion.

  • Findings in writing

After the visit you receive a written report setting out what was found, where, and what the specialist suggests doing next, ready to share with whoever needs it.

  • All six counties

Bookings are taken from Antrim and Down through to Armagh, Tyrone, Fermanagh and Londonderry, covering Belfast terraces, rural cottages and newer estates alike.

Why local experience counts in Northern Ireland

Solid stone cottages, cavity-built semis and Atlantic rain all behave differently; a specialist who works in Northern Ireland knows where to look first.

  • Proportionate & evidence-led

  • Calibrated moisture meters

  • Salt analysis included

Buying a home, or answering to a lender?

A Level 2 homebuyer survey or a mortgage valuation will often note signs of damp without going on to explain the cause. A pre-purchase damp survey is booked to look further: the specialist inspects the affected areas, takes moisture readings and writes up what is likely behind the problem, so you can raise it with the seller, your solicitor or your lender before you exchange.

If an insurer or landlord has asked for evidence about damp or mould, mention it when you book. The specialist can tell you what the report will cover, and where treatment work is carried out later, a certificate may be issued for it.
